Mentype® Nonaplex I
Mentype® Nonaplex I PCR Amplification Kit is a multiplex application for the eight Short Tandem Repeat (STR) loci which belong to the German Forensic DNA Database (DAD) and are recommended by EDNAP. The primers are fluorescence-labelled with 6-FAM (Amelogenin, D3S1358, TH01, and SE33), HEX (vWA, FGA, and D18S51) or NED (D8S1179 and D21S11).
Mentype® Nonaplex I was developed for fast and reliable DNA genotyping of blood, buccal swabs and forensic stains. The detection limit of Mentype® Nonaplex I PCR Amplification Kit is less than 500 pg genomic DNA.
For genotyping of rare FGA alleles (42.2-51.2), we recommend to use Mentype® NonaplexQS.
