Research Project SmartTranslation

Increasing regulatory and quality assurance requirements demand standardized workflows from sample collection to software-supported evaluation and reporting. This is also imperative for the informative value and reproducibility of new biomarkers and often complex biomarker signatures until new in vitro diagnostics (IVD) are ready for the market.

The aim of this R&D project is to optimize diagnostics in personalized oncology by developing an efficient analytical system for the exploration, validation, and translation of new molecular biomarkers. In addition, the aim is to further develop the MODAPLEX nucleic acid analysis platform for this process and adapt it for the laboratory of the future.
