The IntelliPrep TRIO 240 is the first fully integrated, walk-away sample preparation platform that takes a primary clinical specimen and delivers a PCR-ready plate — without a single manual pipetting step between extraction and assay setup. By combining four process stages in a single run, laboratories eliminate the handoff errors and time losses that occur when separate instruments or operators handle extraction, quantification, and PCR setup.
Processing up to 24 samples simultaneously, the system employs a fixed 24-channel magnetic-pipette mechanism that ensures consistent liquid transfer at every step. Fluorometric quantification is built in, enabling precise DNA concentration measurement and automatic normalization before assay mix preparation — so every well receives the exact input your downstream application requires.

Workflow
The IntelliPrep TRIO 240 executes four fully automated process stages in a single, uninterrupted walk-away run: (1) Primary Sample Extraction — automated nucleic acid isolation from FFPE tissue, whole blood, buffy coat, plasma, nasopharyngeal swabs, and suspension cells using the fixed 24-channel magnetic-pipette system, with no manual pre-treatment required; (2) Quantification — integrated Fluorometric measurement of DNA concentration for each of the 24 samples simultaneously; (3) Sample Normalization — automatic dilution and concentration adjustment ensures every sample reaches the exact target input required for downstream assay performance or NGS library preparation; (4) PCR Assay Setup — automated assay preparation and precise volume delivery into PCR-ready plates. From primary sample to assay-ready plate, the entire process requires no manual intervention.
