The Matrix Standard BT5 multi is a spectral alignment tool designed to prepare your Genetic Analyzer for the reliable use of Mentype® Chimera® PCR Amplification Kit, Mentype® DIPscreen PCR Amplification Kit, Mentype® AMLplexQS PCR Amplification Kit, and Mentype® AMLplus Mutation Analysis Kit. It contains five PCR amplicons, each labeled with a distinct fluorophore. Analysis of these amplicons enables the calculation and correction of spectral overlap between the emission spectra of the individual dyes. This spectral calibration allows the simultaneous detection of all five fluorophores in a single capillary, reduces pull-up peaks and other artefacts, and supports accurate fragment analysis and reliable data interpretation.
