BIOTYPE at SummerSchool Molecular Pathology 2026: FGFR3 Diagnostics in Focus
The FGFR3 therapy landscape in bladder cancer is evolving quickly, with several targeted agents now advancing through clinical development. In its Phase 1 trial, Erda-iDRS achieved an impressive 89% complete response rate, with patients maintaining a median remission of 18 months. Phase 2/3 trials are already underway, and additional agents such as Dabogratinib and Loxo-435 are following close behind, further expanding the pipeline of targeted FGFR3 therapies for bladder cancer patients.
As the range of treatment options continues to grow, solutions for molecular sample analysis need to keep pace with this progress.
BIOTYPE FGFR Panel for MODAPLEX addresses exactly this research need: the panel detects 13 mutations and 12 gene fusions in a single multiplex assayand delivers results in under 5 hours, combining broad genomic coverage with a fast, streamlined turnaround. The process can be optimized even further with IntelliPrep TRIO 240 system, which automates both sample preparation and nucleic acid extraction, reducing hands-on time for the laboratory.
